“Peace, Land, and Bread”

On November 20, the Campus Workers Collective at UW-Madison held an event commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Russian Revolution. University staff and members of the community enjoyed listening to Professor Emeritus Frank Emspak and guest speaker Oleg Kizimenko discuss the Revolution: its history, global impact, and how it was celebrated in the last decades of the Soviet Union. CREECA Outreach Coordinator Kelly Iacobazzi was also invited to introduce the audience to CREECA’s many public programs and events.
