During Peace Corps Week, UW–Madison Peace Corps Recruiter Hannah Bennett will offer information sessionsoffice hours, and an application workshop. Two events open to the campus and the community include:

  • Peace Corps Story Slam – Wednesday, March 4, 6:00–7:30 p.m., Education Building (1000 Bascom Mall), room 159 (co-sponsored by the SOE Global Engagement Office)
  • Freeze for Food – Saturday, March 7, coordinated by the Returned Peace Corps Volunteers of Madison

Celebrating its 65th anniversary, the Peace Corps offers service opportunities for U.S. citizens in education, health, environment, agriculture, community economic development, and youth in development. UW–Madison was the #1 institution for Peace Corps recruitment in 2024–2025.
