Ambassador Daniel Rosenblum (ret.) will talk about his more than three-decade career in diplomacy, international development, and security cooperation, reflect on what he learned along the way about finding job satisfaction, and answer students’ questions related to the Foreign Service and other paths to a meaningful career in international relations.

During 28 years with the State Department, Daniel Rosenblum served as U.S. Ambassador to both Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Central Asia, and Coordinator of U.S. Assistance to Europe and Eurasia. He managed bilateral relations, promoted U.S. exports and investments, and advanced U.S. national security interests throughout Eurasia and Central Asia.
