Embroidered with Pain tells the stories of Ukrainian women who endured sexual violence committed by Russian occupiers. Using traditional Ukrainian embroidery as its medium, it weaves messages of hope with ancient symbolism, masterfully turning trauma into a powerful visual language. Originating in Ukraine, the project has grown into a moving platform for remembrance, healing, and justice.
