UW Political Science PhD candidate Marika Olijar is organizing a cookbook fundraising project, titled titled Taste of Eurasia: Recipes from our Madison Friends and Family Cookbook Submission. This cookbook will feature recipes submitted by members of the broader Madison community who have connections to Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and Eurasia: faculty, staff, students, summer language participants, and their families and friends. To receive a PDF copy, I will solicit proof that $20 was donated to the charity organization World Central Kitchen via email.
Olijar aims to have the PDF cookbook ready by the end of Fall 2025 or early spring 2026. In the meantime, Olijar would love to start spreading the word and gathering recipe submissions. Please use the following google forms link to submit one or many recipes. It would be especially appreciated if you recipes are submitted as soon as possible, with an aim to have most recipes in by October 15th, 2025.
