The Ukraine Coordinator provides support to the Future Leaders Exchange (FLEX) program, which is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State. FLEX is administered by American Councils and provides a life-changing, one-year scholarship exchange opportunity in the U.S. for approximately 900 competitively selected secondary school students from Europe and Eurasia.
This position supports the 200 students from Ukraine who are currently in the U.S. for their 2021-22 FLEX program. Most work will be performed during standard U.S. business hours (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST) but will occasionally extend to weekends, early mornings and/or evenings. The Ukraine Coordinator reports to the Secondary School Programs Director in Washington, DC and works closely with designated FLEX Ukraine staff.
Bachelor’s degree is required, Ukrainian language proficiency preferred. Further information and application materials can be found here.
