The Havighurst Center for Russian and Post-Soviet Studies and the Department of Media, Journalism, and Film (MJF) is seeking a joint Teaching Fellow/Visiting Assistant Professor in Russian, Eastern European or Central Asian media studies, journalism, or film. Teaching responsibilities include core classes for the MJF major as well as upper-level courses in specialty. The teaching fellow will also be expected to participate in events and event planning for the Havighurst Center. The position is renewable for up to four years, contingent on performance and funding.
Required: Ph.D. in media studies, film studies, journalism, sociology, communication, political science, or other closely relevant field by date of appointment (August, 2022). Position is not eligible for H-1B sponsorship.
