The NSLI-Y intern will work with the NSLI-Y Administration and Placement teams and will report to the NSLI-Y Assistant Program Manager for Administration and Placement. The NSLI-Y Program Internship is a paid internship that allows students to work alongside a diverse group of U.S. based and overseas staff to gain practical skills and experience in non-profit organization, overseas language programming, international education, and program administration. The intern will work closely with team members of the NSLI-Y Administration and Placement teams to help with tasks associated with overseas and virtual immersion language programming. Preference will be given to NSL-Y alumni in good standing.
Qualifications include:
- Working towards a Bachelor’s or graduate’s degree in an associated field (e.g. foreign languages, international education, education, international relations, government, area studies, etc.)
- Currently enrolled in a higher education institution
- Study abroad or international experience including NSLI-Y (preferred but not required)
- Ability to work responsibly and remotely
