The Center for Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies (CREES) at the University of Kansas (KU) is seeking an Outreach Coordinator to develop Russia, Eastern Europe, and Eurasia-related programs, events, and resources for teachers, students, and the general public. The position will support CREES’ mission as a National Resource Center on this culturally and geopolitically crucial world region.
The Outreach Coordinator builds connections with educators, business partners, government partners, and community members across Kansas and the Great Plains. They collaborate with the other KU area studies centers and other internationally-engaged KU units, including the Lied Center, the Spencer Museum of Art, the professional schools, the Hall Center for the Humanities, and others. Finally, the Outreach Coordinator utilizes a wide array of media to reach diverse audiences in digital and in-person formats.
