American Councils for International Education is seeking a qualified manager to provide support for secondary-school exchanges, and short-term training and experiential programs delivered in English. Two key programs in the portfolio are the Future Leaders Exchange Program (FLEX) and the United States English Teaching Program for Afghan Refugees (USET). The position reports to the Country Director for Uzbekistan and is based in Tashkent, Uzbekistan with travel around the region as needed. They will participate actively as a senior member of the American Councils Uzbekistan team to maximize cooperation, coordination, and representation across the overall program portfolio. Other administrative tasks and assignments i.e., staffing, personnel management, new business development, and programmatic representation with local stakeholders may be required.
