Position Open: Lecturer in Polish Language, UCLA

The Department of Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Languages and Cultures at the University of California – Los Angeles, is seeking a part-time Lecturer to teach Beginning and Advanced Polish in alternate years, and, depending on available funding, an additional “content” course on Polish or East/Central European literature and culture, starting in AY 22-23, which begins July 1st, 2022. The ideal candidate should have a demonstrated knowledge of Polish language sufficient to teach all levels of the language as well as a familiarity with contemporary instructional technologies. Fluency in Polish and English is required as is knowledge of Polish culture and preferably one or more East/Central European cultures. The candidate must hold an M.A. degree or higher in a related field.
