The Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, a unique global network of policy research centers in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and United States, is seeking a detail-oriented Grants Coordinator to join its development (fundraising) team in Washington, D.C.
The Grants Coordinator will report to the Managing Director of Development and provide grant management support. Responsibilities include coordinating grant reporting, maintaining grant record-keeping and internal award processing, assisting with grant proposals, maintaining fundraising pipeline data, assisting with database support for the Development team, and coordination with Finance and research programs.
The position requires one to two years of experience, preferably in fundraising or a grants awarding and processing role. The ideal candidate has a background in development/fundraising and is looking to focus more on grants-related work. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented and possess excellent organization and communication skills. The ability to manage and meet deadlines is essential as is the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and be flexible towards changing priorities. Proficiency with database software systems is required.
