Job: Graduate Teaching Assistant at UW-Madison, Spring 2020

The University of Wisconsin-Madison Departments of German, Nordic, and Slavic (GNS) and  the Center for Russia, East Europe, and Central Asia (CREECA) are recruiting a 50%-time graduate teaching assistant for the core interdisciplinary course Slavic/Geography/History/Poli Sci 254 for the spring 2020 semester. This class, taught by Professor David Danaher (GNS) is a core course for CREECA and fulfills a requirement for the undergraduate certificate in Russian, East European, and Central Asian Studies (REECAS). The official name of the class is “East Europe: An Interdisciplinary Survey,” and the specific theme for spring 2020 will be “The Culture of Dissent in Czechoslovakia and Poland.”
