Short-Term Fellowships

The NYU Jordan Center for the Advanced Study of Russia Short-Term Fellowship Program is designed to facilitate research in local collections, expose visitors to the intellectual life of the Russian field at NYU and in the greater New York community, and acquaint faculty and graduate students at NYU with the most recent world-wide trends in the study of Russia. The fellowship program is geared toward scholars who have earned their doctoral degrees or equivalents.

Visiting Scholars
Deadline: 05/01/2019

The Writers in Residence Program brings faculty and researchers whose current work is focused on Russia to the New York University campus every semester. In addition to the support of the Jordan Center, writers receive access to NYU facilities such as Bobst Library, shared office space, and the opportunity to workshop their current research as a part of the Jordan Center Occasional Series. Residences run on the academic semester (Fall/Spring/Summer) for up to three terms with the possibility of renewal for one additional year. Advanced PhD students pursuing research related to their dissertation are welcome to apply. Please note Visiting Scholars are not employees of NYU and under no circumstances should they be considered as such.
