The Center for Russia, East Europe, and Central Asia (CREECA), in cooperation with the Department of German, Nordic, and Slavic, seeks a talented educator and administrator as its Program Coordinator for the Pushkin Summer Institute. The Program Coordinator, working under the supervision of the CREECA Associate Director and the Pushkin Summer Institute Faculty Director, oversees all aspects of the Pushkin Summer Institute, a two-part program that includes a six-week summer institute at the University of Wisconsin-Madison for rising high school juniors and seniors and an overseas summer program in Daugavpils, Latvia for rising high school seniors and recent graduates. This is a year-round position with a variable FTE. During the academic year, the Program Coordinator works to plan the programs. During the summer, the Program Coordinator serves as the full-time On-Site Director of the domestic Pushkin Summer Institute in Madison. MA in Russian or related field required; PhD preferred.
