“Demonstrate proficiency in a foreign language and English, including reading, writing, listening, and speaking and incorporating functional and consultant subject matter experts on national security issues. Provide research, collection, and analysis and apply comprehension to the translation of documents, media, and other open and all source material in and from the target language, as needed. Provide reports in English to address intelligence and national security requirements. Apply cultural and linguistic comprehension to provide context to materials. Provide real-time interpretation services.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience with performing Russian-to-English translation or interpretation
Experience with standard Adobe and Microsoft Office products
Knowledge of European or Eurasian culture, military, economy, and current events
Ability to demonstrate professional-level proficiency at the Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) Level 3 or higher in reading and listening
Ability to operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that may require working non-standard hours or from multiple locations
TS/SCI clearance required
HS diploma or GED”
