Have you been considering a career in the US Department of State’s Foreign Service but found yourself wondering how realistic is it? What is the process really like? How long does it really take? Do I have the right major? and so forth? Then this is the session for you. Melissa Martinez, Diplomat in Residence for the Midwest joins us to walk you through the process with an insider’s insight. You’ll learn about the whole process from taking the FSOT (Foreign Service Officer Test) to the day your name goes up on the Assignment Roster for deployment to your first embassy/consulate job.
