Funding: Wisconsin Study in Poland Scholarship

Two Wisconsin Study in Poland Scholarships are available for the Kosciuszko Foundation’s Summer Study Abroad programs at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow.  The scholarships, which cover the cost of tuition, language textbooks, a shared room, breakfast and dinner and complementary programs such as sightseeing (program fees),  may be used towards Session A, a 4-week program or Session B, a 6-week program.   Previous knowledge of the Polish language is not required.

Scholarship recipients will be responsible for their own transportation, health care coverage, travel insurance, airfare and all other costs.

Wisconsin Study in Poland Scholarship Eligibility

In order to apply for a Wisconsin Study in Poland Scholarship (WSIP), the applicant must be a high school graduate and be 18 years of age by the first day of the program. Undergraduate and graduate students may apply.

The applicant must be a Wisconsin resident of Polish descent.  Consideration will also be given to non-resident Wisconsin students of Polish descent who are attending Wisconsin colleges and universities.  A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is required.
