Funding for Baltic Studies (BALSSI 2025, Deadline December 6)

The Baltic Studies Summer Institute (BALSSI), a cooperative project
of the Baltic Languages Consortium and the Association for the
Advancement of Baltic Studies, will offer intensive Estonian, Latvian
and Lithuanian courses in summer 2025 through Indiana University.

ABOUT BALSSI COURSES
• 2 semesters of intensive online Estonian, Latvian, or Lithuanian
• 18 hours of class each week
• In-state tuition for ALL students, including non-US citizens

  • Title VIII Fellowship
    • Full tuition + stipend
    • Eligibility: Graduate students + Scholars who are US citizens
  • Foreign Language and Area Studies fellows
    • Full tuition + stipend
    • Eligibiity: Undergraduate studentS
  • AABS Scholarship
    • Variable amounts
    • Eligibility: All applicantS
  •  Women Engaging Globally Scholarship
    • Variable amounts, up to full tuition
    • Eligibility: Undergraduate women
