Virtual Roundtable on Law and Human Rights in Ukraine

The invasion of Ukraine by Russia raises many questions of law. This panel is devoted to exploring some of the most urgent questions, including the legality of the use of force, the growing occurrence of war crimes, the effectiveness of accountability mechanisms such as the International Criminal Court, and Russia’s memory laws. Panelists draw from a variety of disciplinary lenses, including political theory, history, and law, as well as experience as a military lawyer.
