Lunch ‘n Learn: Real World Experiences in Kazakhstan

Learn more about the Wisconsin-Kazakhstan connection featuring delegates from UW-Extension and local government. UW-Extension has hosted 10 delegations from Kazakhstan and has taken five delegations from Wisconsin to Kazakhstan. In 2017 Dale Beaty and Jon Hockhammer were part of the delegation that visited Kazakhstan and participated in Citizen to Citizen Diplomacy. They will give a personal overview of their experiences, observations, and insights into Kazakhstan’s economy, culture, history, and way of life. Vice Rector Sergey Mogilnyy will give a brief overview of his university, and an update on Kazakhstan. An active dialogue and Q & A session will follow.
