About the Speaker
Ekaterina Libova is a vising scholar from Moscow, Russia. She holds an LL.M. in Intellectual Property and works as a legal counsel for an IT company. Libova analyzes the effects of global digitalization on human presence. Digital identity will play a vital role in the global community, but a lack of proven legal identity may cause exclusion from political, economic, and social life. Libova’s research seeks to understand the theoretical and practical issues on how a so-called “digital person” functions, and focuses on possible solutions to harmonize the digital identity standard.
