2022 Global Learning Summit
April 9 @ 9:00 am - 3:30 pm
Join us on April 9th, from 9am-3:30pm, for the 2022 Global Learning Summit. The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction & the Wisconsin International Resource Consortium (WIRC) present a day of virtual workshops and focus sessions for K-12 teachers and high school students. This year’s themes incorporate: Global Competence and Global Learning for Global Action. Teachers attend a morning workshop from 9:00-11:30 and are joined by high school learners at 11:45 for an engaging keynote, Q&A with globally engaged citizens, and collaborative action planning time. Review the Global Learning Summit Agenda to learn more!
Registration is open through March 25. The first 80 Wisconsin K-12 educators to register will receive a complimentary copy of Becoming a Globally Competent Teacher by Ariel Tichnor-Wagner!
Who is it for?
Wisconsin K-12 educators at any level, and Wisconsin high school students (accompanied with their teacher).
How many students can I bring?
Up to 20 high school students.
Why should I attend?
This is an exciting event with a 2 hour workshop given by Ariel-Tichnor-Wagner, author of Becoming a Globally Competent Teacher, a workshop with Jill Woerner, and a chance for globally-minded high school students to meet, connect, and brainstorm together.
