Who can apply:
- Master’s students graduating in 2025 or 2026
- PhD candidates who defended in 2025 or plan to defend later
Eligible research:
- Research focusing on repression, surveillance, censorship, or related mechanisms in Russia
- Projects from disciplines such as sociology, political science, law, anthropology, information and communication studies, geography, and related fields
- Studies based on qualitative and/or quantitative methods
Timeline:
- 28 February — abstract submission deadline (250 words)
- 1 July — full paper submission deadline (8,000–10,000 words)
- 15 September — announcement of winners
Awards: up to five prizes of €2,000.
