Call for Proposals: 7th Annual Virtual 2026 Indiana University Taras Shevchenko Ukrainian Studies Conference (Apply by Feb. 22)

About the Conference:

The Seventh Annual Virtual 2026 Indiana University Taras Shevchenko Ukrainian Studies Conference will be held March 26 – 28, 2026. We invite your proposals for conference sessions!
This is an annual interdisciplinary conference at Indiana University (IU) organized by the IU Ukrainian Studies Organization, the Department of Slavic and East European Languages and Cultures, and the Byrnes Institute (REEI). The conference welcomes papers from the wide range of disciplines devoted to Ukraine.
Submissions are invited for individual papers, panels, and roundtable discussions. Full panels and roundtables are strongly encouraged. The conference language is English.

Deadline for submission: February 22, 2026

Required materials:

●     Name and affiliation
●     Title of the panel/roundtable or individual paper
●     1 paragraph description of the panel or roundtable (purpose, key themes, rationale, significance) or 1 paragraph abstract for an individual paper
●     List of CONFIRMED participants (chair/moderator, panelists or roundtable participants, discussants) and titles of their proposed presentations (for panelists). (Please confirm with colleagues that they are willing to participate in the panel/roundtable before listing them!)
