ARISC Graduate/Postdoctoral Fellowships (Apply by Dec. 5)

ARISC announces the availability of graduate/postdoctoral fellowships in support of research in the South Caucasus (Armenia, Azerbaijan, and/or Georgia).

Eligibility: The ARISC Graduate/Postdoctoral Fellowships are open to U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, Canadian citizens, or Canadian permanent residents. Projects in all fields in the social sciences, humanities, and related sciences are eligible. Limited to ARISC members: student, individual, or institutional members.

Award Amount: Awards will be made for a maximum of $2,250 each. The purpose of the fellowship is to help cover travel and/or living expenses in the South Caucasus. ARISC expects to award up to three Graduate/Postdoctoral Fellowships in 2025-26.

Additional Information: During their stay in the South Caucasus, the fellow is expected to give an ARISC-sponsored public presentation on a subject related to their research. A remote option is possible (see full call on website).
