The Graduate School Office of Professional Development and Communications has an opening for a 50% (annual appointment) Higher Education Leadership Project Assistantship. The PA will (a) serve on the planning team to develop, implement, and assess programs that support the professional development of graduate students and (b) actively promote professional development opportunities to graduate students, and (c) engage in systematic activities to develop critical competencies central to academic leadership.
This position offers a guided opportunity to learn about issues in higher education and to develop knowledge and skills necessary for leadership roles. In addition, project assistants will develop in-depth knowledge of professional development needs of graduate students. Please note that this position is for PhD students only.
