About the lecture: TBA
About the speaker: Holly Case, Associate Professor of History at Cornell University, earned her Ph.D. at Stanford University in 2004. Her teaching and research interests include modern Eastern Europe, the legacies of imperialism, and the politics of violence. Her articles on East European cultural identity and the Holocaust have appeared in several edited volumes. Professor Case’s own book-length study, The Transylvanian Question and the European Idea during World War II, was just published in January 2009 by Stanford University Press.

About the speaker: Professor Williams received his PhD in History from UW-Madison in 1999 and is an associate professor of Islamic history at the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth.

About the speaker: Michail Kozakov is one of the most prominent contemporary Russian actors, film and play directors. He starred in over 60 movies, many of which are now considered the classics of Soviet cinema, and in numerous plays in renowned Moscow theaters. His own theater troupe "Russian Antrepriza of Michail Kozakov" is famous at home and among Russian Diaspora World over.
